Their drink selection is truly unbelievable, and in fact they have an entire wall dedicated to shelving their options! The Rum Punch is one of the many cocktails we love! Their prices are good, but it's the Happy Hour that will keep you coming back! Happy hour all day on Mondays with $2 craft beer and $5 wine! The food here comes in very generous portions, and the brunch, lunch, and dinner options are all superb! The dessert menu is also out of this world so save room for their chocolate cake!

The Rum House is a little bit of the Caribbean right in Baton Rouge. Inspired by the Caribbean, The Rum House offers food and drink of the islands! Shrimp tacos, mango salsa, Jamaican beef patties, rum cocktails, and delicious desserts such as the chocolate lava cake or Funky Monkey milk shake! The food is made with fresh ingredients, so the dishes have great color from all of the fruits and vegetables, and of course the fruity cocktails are bright as well, and even the decor of the bar is very colorful and tropical, so needless to say that The Rum House always makes us feel like we're off on a Caribbean cruise!
